Type: Oolong Tea
Origin: Lugu, Nantou County, Taiwan
Oxidation: 30%~40%
One of the most famous and finest Taiwan/Taiwanese oolong teas. This Dong Ding Oolong Tea (Tung Ting Oolong Tea) was carefully hand–picked from the famous Deer Valley (Lu-Gu) in Southern Taiwan at the specific elevation of 2500 feet /740 meters. This is a light oxidized, medium roasted taiwanese oolong tea with a robust and full-bodied flavor, complimented by the aroma of roasted chestnuts. In Taiwan this tea is referred to as High Mountain Oolong tea. A lot of Taiwanese claim to have Dong Ding Oolong Tea (Tung Ting oolong tea), but if it isn't from Deer Valley (Lu-Gu) then it isn't the real Taiwanese Dong Ding oolong tea. If you haven't had any Taiwanese High Mountain Oolong tea, you are missing out...
