Origin: Yunnan Province, China
Pu-Erh is a Chinese tea from Yunnan, China. For hundreds of years, Pu-Erh has been touted as medicinal tea, reputed for its healthful effects. More recently, studies in China, Germany, and France maintain that Pu-Erh lowers cholesterols and triglycerides.
This Pu-Erh has been compressed into a circular disc. Extremely rare and hard to find this cake carries an aged, ripe and high octane, featuring mildly earthy aroma, true brown color, and rich earthy taste with briny overtones.
